The Viking Compass Ring features the Vegvisir symbol - also known as the Viking compass/Nordic compass or the runic compass. It is comprised of rune staves that were believed to provide guidance for a person who might lose his way. The Vikings used to draw it on their ships before they set sail to ensure they would come back home safely.
